Nicholas Wyss is an experienced litigator who focuses his practice on complex civil litigation, with an emphasis on patent litigation. He has more than fifteen years of experience representing clients in intellectual property and commercial disputes in federal and state courts. His practice has involved matters concerning patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, breach of contract, and other business disputes.

Nicholas has represented both patentees and accused infringers in patent disputes involving a wide range of technologies, including small-cell network extension technology, MIMO communications, mobile communications and messaging technology, telematics and driver-behavior analysis systems, digital media management, content delivery, and streaming technology, location-based networking and media-sharing platforms, tagged asset and information-management systems, multifunction imaging devices, medical devices, unmanned aerial vehicles and autonomous control systems, and e-commerce platforms. He also has experience in post-grant proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and in appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Nicholas graduated with Honors from the University of Texas School of Law. During law school, he interned with the Supreme Court of Texas, the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, and the Travis County Attorney’s Office.
